Just a few weeks ago my heart bounced twice so hard by seeing an advert on a Dutch car site. A guy offered his '91 Qv with no price listed. The story is that this 164 was sold in Holland in '91 and was owned by the wife of the Alfa Dealer at that time (Alfa Koen Blaricum). She drove it for a short while and probably got bored with it....  It ended up in the showroom in '93 and in '94 it was sold to an Italian guy who lives in Holland. This guy only drove it from the dealer to his garage, and found out that his muffler was not ok anymore so took it back ones and they put a new one under the car. The Italian drove it back to his garage and it never came out it again..... With only 77.000 km's on the clock, it had to be mine. Only problem is that the Qv spoilerset was replaced with the normal ones because the woman who owned it first did not like it. No problem for me, just replace them again in it's original outfit. Because the car did not drive for 17 years we did not start it, and gently put it on a auto-ambulance. I need to bring the engine alive, so this will take a little while. Some photo's:

Hi Erwin, that's really a lucky catch  This is the piece you prefered against red Recaros. Obviously the dealer's wife loved to drive it (77k km in 3 years, not so bad). Cheers, Nils |

Yes, I prefered this over the Red Recaro's... Everything looks like new, even the enginebay is immaculate. But after not running for 17 years, it still is a gamble....

Time goes fast, and took my Qv to my friend who has a coatingshop. The original fenders and skirts are abouth to be replaced, as it should be.       More later....

Back from the painter with it's original Qv bumper/skirtset on it.         Now the rest needs to be fixed.
